CNC connected device checks positioning accuracy

A CNC-connected device for measuring and adjusting bi-rotary, continuous or indexed heads, or rotary-tilting tables checks and corrects geometric errors, improving positioning accuracy.

The Fidia HMS system is a device for measuring and adjusting bi-rotary, continuous or indexed heads, or rotary-tilting tables.

Fitted with three sensors connected to the CNC, the device is managed by a special measurement software which, by processing the data from the sensors, is able to check and correct geometric errors, positioning accuracy and the RTCP parameters for many types of heads and tables.

HMS is a useful tool for anyone needing to adjust an head or a table, like machine tool builders and retroand#64257;tting or service companies.

In addition, owing to its extreme simplicity of use, it is also of great interest to machine tool users for performing periodic accuracy checks.

Simple to install and use, HMS can also be utilized by less highly skilled personnel.

Using a fast automatic cycle it is easy to made a much more accurate test in a shorter time compared with traditional methods.
