An amazing 27 nominations have made it past the selection panel's expert scrutiny to become finalists in the Fork Lift Truck Association Annual Awards for Excellence 2005.
Making the announcement, FLTA chairman Richard Baxter says: "We are delighted to welcome Daewoo on board.
"Daewoo are leading players in our industry and their decision to become involved reflects the truly global significance of the Annual Awards for Excellence".
Nominations are already well under way in the key categories of Safety, Environment, Ergonomics and Innovation, with a new award being introduced for the Employee of the Year.
All members of the materials handling community are entitled to vote for the winners who will collect their coveted Archies in an Oscars-style ceremony at the Hilton Metropole, Birmingham, on Saturday 26 February 2005.
