Nominations sought now for FLTA Awards 2006

The Fork Lift Truck Association Annual Awards for Excellence 2006 ceremony will take place at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole on Saturday 11 February 2006.

The Fork Lift Truck Association Annual Awards for Excellence 2006 ceremony will take place at the Birmingham Hilton Metropole on Saturday 11 February 2006.

Nominations for the Awards - including those for Safety, Environment, Ergonomics and Innovation - are now being invited, with a closing date of 30 September 2005.

"If you want to have a chance of winning one of these Awards, make sure your product or service is nominated," says FLTA Chairman Richard Baxter.

"And don't wait for someone else to send in a nomination - do it yourself".

The nomination process is very simple, involving an easy-to-complete form that can be obtained by contacting the FLTA or downloading from the organisation's website.

"We would say to everyone in the materials handling industry that these are your Awards and they depend on your participation if they are to have their maximum effect in encouraging improvement in standards.

"Making a nomination - on behalf of your own company's work or someone else's achievement that you admire - is one very important way in which you can get involved".

The Association is also keen for as many people and companies as possible to take part by voting, attending the event and joining the list of sponsors and supporters.

New to that list this year is one of the industry's biggest names, Linde Material Handling (UK), which will be the entertainment sponsor for Awards 2006.

Joining the Award supporters will be Integrity Handling , a specialised company supplying fork trucks specifically to fork truck dealers.

The FLTA wishes to thank each and every one of the sponsors and supporters for making Awards 2006 possible.
