For seven years business development manager for Northern Connectors, Gill has over 20 years' experience in connector distribution and manufacturing support, mainly in the industrial sector, and welcomes the opportunity to expand Fischer Connectors' existing business in the north as well as taking its products into new markets.
Gill reports to Fischer Connectors' managing director in the UK, Peter Orrell and will be covering Lancashire, North Yorkshire, the Midlands, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
A keen long-distance walker with coast-to-coast experience, he is well-acquainted with the region.
"My new area of operations has previously been served by a number of Fischer Connectors' engineers, but business growth now warrants a dedicated sales team," Gill commented.
"I look forward to serving Fischer Connectors' traditional markets in the region in nuclear, medical and defence sectors, and will be aiming to extend the company's influence in industrial sectors in which I have gained considerable experience."
