Paints keep historic river vessel shipshape
Firwood Paints has supplied a combination of paints to keep shipshape one of the River Thames' most famous and historic vessels - the Massey Shaw fireboat.
The site not only illustrates the Firwood Standard Product Range but also shows colour and pack size availability for products.
Registered Customers have the functionality to select items for ordering, create requisition lists for repeat orders and download Technical and Safety Information.
Cash Accounts are able to quickly self register on the site and place orders with payment being made by any of the Major UK Credit Cards.
In designing the site the Firwood Sales and Marketing Team carried out interviews with existing customers to identify their needs and expectations.
A robust software platform was selected with the functionality for Firwood's Web Team to continue to develop the site by the addition of new products, news and information.
External consultancy support was gained from participation in the e4C Project which looks at the best use of Information Technology in the Chemicals Industry.
