FI are pleased to announce the launch of a new sales lead and sourcing market place to assist suppliers of new and used machine tools to increase market knowledge, identify potential customers Following a successful pilot over the last few months, FI Machine Tools was officially launched on 1st June 2006

The service was devised to assist suppliers of new and used machine tools to increase their market knowledge, identify potential customers and win new business.

Buyers of machine tools are given access to a membership of quality new and used machine tool suppliers through a free sourcing service.

FI Machine Tools will assist suppliers to: * Grow business.

* Save valuable time and money by replacing cold calling and concentrating on genuine specific enquiries.

* Develop customer bases - FI members have access to one of the largest UK manufacturing databases.

* Reduce sales and marketing costs.

* Proactively promote business 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

* Gain key industry knowledge of who is buying what and when.

Supplier profiles - to compliment the sales leads, FI members have supplier profiles on the FI Directory, which is visited by around 500 engineer's everyday.

Profiles provide buyers with detailed online company information about FI Machine Tools suppliers.

If you put both services together, FI Machine Tools is an ideal service for any forward thinking company to support its sales manager and team.

"We are selling machines directly as a result of FI Machine Tools RFQs," said John Branson, Spinner UK.

As this is a new service FI are offering potential members of FI Machine Tools a chance to review the 'Requests For Quotes' we receive free of charge for one month, visit the FI Information Web site to register.

Buyers who have used the free sourcing service have told us the service: * Saves time - there is no need to spend hours faxing, emailing, mailing and calling potential suppliers.

FI forwards the enquiry with drawings to relevant suppliers and * Creates confidence that they receive genuine quotes from quality UK suppliers.

* Keeps them in control - by managing the information online and working closely with the sourcing advisors, buyers control the information sent out and the level and type of response.

* Provides detailed knowledge of potential suppliers - supplier profiles allow buyers to find and evaluate suppliers online, at the touch of a button full company profiles are available.

"Just to say thank you once again for the service you have provided in sourcing a machine for us.

I would recommend your company to anyone who wishes to source a machine tool, no matter what their price range is, new or old machines," said Neil Davis, Masterhitch Europe.

* How does it work - the sales service is run on a monthly basis, with no annual contract, which allows suppliers to make use of the sales leads as and when they decide relevant pre-qualified leads are required.

The sourcing service for buyers is simple, easy to use and always free.

Buyers create their RFQ in the format best suited to them, online, via email, by telephone/fax or by post.

FI then distribute the enquiry to relevant suppliers who contact the buyer directly with their quotes.
