Sales leads service helps source components

Prior to using the membership service, a machined forgings company has been successfully using a sales lead service to source quality, cost effective engineering components.

RPA Components have over 20 years experience in the engineering and manufacturing industry, working with castings, forgings and machined parts, they specialise in assisting companies to source quality, cost effective engineering components.

As RPA aim to assist a variety of buyers in a range of industries they wanted a way to "Obtain a wide range of enquiries from across the UK and Ireland," said Raymond Potter - managing director The company were contacted by FI Engineering and after a meeting with one of the account managers Raymond felt the service would provide them an opportunity to fulfil the above aim, as FI had the experience required in the engineering industry.

Prior to using the membership service, RPA had been using direct mail campaigns to generate new business, backed up with repeat business from existing customers.

RPA have now been with FI Engineering for eight years and in that time they have been very successful with these of the sales leads.

Potter feels their success is in "Understanding that they buy leads not orders, the sales job is still to be done by us." If you keep this in mind and remember the service is not a sale on a plate it will work.
