The agreement also involves other Emerson brands of products and services, including Systems; Rosemount instrumentation; Micro Motion flowmeters; Rosemount Analytical instrumentation; Daniel measurement systems; and Emerson Process Automation and Asset Optimisation services.
The agreement applies to all ChevronTexaco operating units and other entities in which ChevronTexaco has at least a 50 percent ownership.
John Berra, executive vice president of Emerson with responsibility for the process management business, noted that the ChevronTexaco agreement is unique in that it involves so many Emerson divisions.
"For the past several years, we've been tightly integrating our divisions so we can better serve our customers.
Through this agreement, with Fisher Controls taking a leading role, ChevronTexaco will be able to look to us to efficiently meet all of their process management needs," said Berra.
"We look forward to working with ChevronTexaco to help them achieve superior operating results.".
