An Emerson Process Management product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team May 26, 2004

Rotary valve delivers longer life in erosive slurry applications such as in metals and mineral processing, when compared with other valve types, says the supplier.

Emerson Process Management has introduced the Fisher Slurry Vee-Ball control valve, which provides a longer service life in erosive slurry type applications, such as in metals and mineral processing, when compared with other valve types.

With a rugged construction, wear-resistant trim materials, and an unrestricted straight through flow path, the Vee-Ball valve design is ideal for controlling the most abrasive of slurries.

It is available in 3in, 4in, 6in, 8in, 10in and 12in sizes.

When used with the Fisher Fieldvue digital valve controller, the Fisher Vee-Ball powers Emerson PlantWeb digital plant architecture, further contributing to maintenance productivity by providing valve diagnostic information to enable proactive, scheduled maintenance.
