Compact clamps have high holding forces
Compact 'one touch' clamps are typically up to 50% smaller in dimension than standard clamp units, but still offer comparable clamping forces.
These miniature clamps are typically up to 50% smaller in dimension than standard clamp units, but still offer comparable clamping forces With their compact size and style options, the mini-clamp lineup offers engineers a wide range of design flexibility for fixtures and workholding systems

Fixtureworks has expanded its Imao One-Touch Clamps with the addition of the compact, Mini One-Touch Clamp series.
The products include swing clamps with rotational or cam handles and swing clamps with torque control.
Additionally, retractable clamps are available with cam or adjustable handles.
Imao's One-Touch actuation system makes work piece loading/unloading quick, easy, and efficient, said Fixtureworks to manuacturingtalk.
They are ideal for repetitive clamping procedures - one handle motion first positions the clamp arm, then applies the downward clamping force with no tools required (torque control style uses a torque wrench).
Fixtureworks offers the swing style clamps with clockwise and counter-clockwise clamping actuation, and all clamps are available with two levels of clamping force, as follows.
* Swing clamps with standard handle: between 247 and 404 lbf.
* Swing clamp with cam handle: between 179 and 337 lbf.
* Torque control: between 517 and 809 lbf.
* Retractable with cam handle: between 157 and 247 lbf.
* Retractable with adjustable handle: between 539 and 944 lbf.
All of the clamp components (except handle knobs) are produced from high quality steel, quenched, tempered and with black oxide finish.
The adjustable contact screw position may be reversed, offering pinpoint pressure loads for heavy duty roughing operations or to expand the load bearing area to protect workpiece surfaces.
Besides the One-Touch Mini-clamps, Fixtureworks also offers Imao standard size clamps along with stops, supports, risers, sliding mounts, tooling plates and blocks.
