A Fixtureworks product story
Edited by the Manufacturingtalk editorial team Jul 16, 2008

Fixtureworks said that the Kipp Wing Grips provide optimum clamping and tightening performance, ergonomics and long service operation.

Fixtureworks is offering 120 styles of Novo-Grip Wing Grips from Kipp.

Kipp is one of Germany's premier manufacturers of manual operating elements.

The wing grips are available in either a standard size range or, for applications with limited access, a compact mini-wing grip form.

The grips provide optimum clamping and tightening performance, ergonomics and long service operation.

Both size groupings of Novo-Grip Wing Grips (standard and mini) are also offered in two configurations, with tapped, female threaded bushings or male threaded stud with options for inch or metric threads.

The 66 variety of standard size grips include bushings or studs made from a choice of stainless steel or steel, while the female mini-grips have options for brass or stainless bushings.

Mini-grips with male threads are offered with either stainless or steel studs.

Wing grip handles are 'comfort molded' using dark grey thermoplastics.

Each size and style is available with cap inserts of matching dark grey, light grey, red, and bright yellow to allow for easy identification.

Standard wing grips with male and female threads are sized from 10-32 to 3/8-16; metric threads are M5 through M10.

The range of 54 mini-size wing grips have threads from 8-32 to 1/4-20 and M4 to M5 for female threads, and 8-32 through to 5/16-18 and M4 thru M8 for versions with male threads.
