As Huron's only authorised supplier in the UK and Ireland, and, in-line with Huron's reputation as one of the finest manufacturers of machine tools in the world, Fortron aims to provide the highest levels of supply and service in all aspects of its operation.
"We are a forward thinking and ambitious organisation, which complements perfectly the quality of Huron," said Fortron's managing director, Peter Willoughby.
"Our appointment as sole agent means that we can drive forward the Huron brand to its full potential, notably in arenas where high quality surface finish and high levels of accuracy are imperative, such as the aerospace, mould and die, and medical engineering sectors." Willoughby added: "Though, naturally, new machine sales are a very important factor of our business, it is the total care over the life cycle of the machine that is important to the would-be purchaser and this is where Fortron's strengths lie." Fortron provides total support before and after any Huron machine tool purchase as a vital part of continuing a successful long term partnership.
