Updating thermal imaging saves energy costs
The Climate Change Levy is focussing the attention of many companies on improving plant efficiency to reduce energy costs. Thermal imaging cameras help identify hotspots and so save energy.
For the first time, cost was no longer an obstacle to a thermal imaging camera becoming a standard part of any engineer's tool kit.
Demand for this new troubleshooting product has been high and worldwide sales have been successful since the camera's introduction a little over a year ago.
Until now the E Series has been the subject of direct selling but this is now set to change.
To ensure the best sales and support structure is in place to accord with the breadth of sectors benefiting from this new technology, Flir Systems has established a UK and Ireland distributor network.
The network comprises channel partners who serve a dedicated geographical area as well as those who are allied to specific application sectors.
"Our aim has been to establish a sales structure that best serves market needs," explained Guy Pas, Vice President of Flir Eurasia.
"Demand for the ThermaCAM E Series continues to grow and this move will give us the flexibility to ensure we can respond quickly and efficiently to individual customer requirements." To date, eight FLIR Systems channel partners have been appointed. Request free introductory details about products from Flir Systems ...
