Infrared cameras supplied for all needs

Following the introduction of its most recent infrared cameras - including one at 'entry level' - a manufacturer says it has products available for all thermal vision applications.

With the introduction of its ThermaCAM E-series of infrared cameras and now the entry level InfraCAM, FLIR Systems has successfully brought thermal imaging - the most universal of predictive maintenance techniques - within easy reach of every engineer However, this is not the complete story

These and other ThermaCAM introductions have done much more than just break down market barriers to infrared.

They form part of an exceptionally large family of products that is unique.

No other infrared company can say, with anywhere near the same level of supporting evidence as FLIR Systems, that they have a camera to suit every infrared application.

Whether the need is for portable or fixed mounted, imaging or radiometric measurement, stand-alone or networked, the choice from FLIR Systems is now exceptional.

Its product programme now covers the full infrared spectrum from 'near' to 'far' and open architecture allows a high degree of application-specific features to be selected.

Furthermore, as the company builds all its own cameras and manufactures all the critical elements in-house, customers' special needs can be easily accommodated.

InfraCAM is FLIR Systems' new low-end flagship and priced at around GBP 4,000.

This camera has a 120 x 120 uncooled FPA that displays an outstandingly crisp image in a choice of colour palettes.

All models in the ThermaCAM E-Series are now built with exportable detectors.

This means they are immune from licensing issues.

First in line is the ThermaCAM E45 that captures highly sensitive images on its 160 x 120 array and provides advanced analysis of radiometric JPEG images both in the field or via PC.

With this model and above FLIR Systems introduces exchangeable lenses, an early indication of the commitment to designing products with the ability to adapt to growing needs.

Choice of standard, telephoto and wide-angle lenses take the new ThermaCAM E300 from being just a 'find-it-fix-it' tool to one that is equally flexible for power line checking or simple electrical inspection.

With its 320 x 240 array it has extraordinary image quality for its price.

The newly redesigned ThermaCAM E320 introduces even more features including 4 x digital zoom and advanced analysis features such as auto hot spot indicators, differential and three-spot temperature measurement, audible alarm and emissivity settings.

The ThermaCAM P-Series is the professional thermographer's choice.

Lightweight and portable it detects, verifies and documents a wide range of predictive maintenance problems with an extensive set of on-board analysis features.

The ThermaCAM P-Series saves images as fully radiometric JPEGS complete with measurement data and voice annotation on a removable Flash PC card.

Images can be easily downloaded from the using the standard ThermaCAM QuickView software.

Naturally the top-of-the-range ThermaCAM P65 takes full advantage of FLIR Systems' innovation.

It provides real-time performance with an unmatched level of thermal sensitivity.

This translates into exceptional image quality and greater problem-solving efficiency.

This infrared camera contains every element needed to maximise the full potential of thermography.

Whilst the ThermaCAM E- and P-Series are primarily for predictive maintenance applications, the FLIR Systems choice doesn't stop there.

Its S-Series for R and D, B-Series for thermal imaging in building and construction and A-Series industrial automation infrared cameras provide the professional thermographer with an unprecedented and unmatched choice.

FLIR Systems' ThermaCAM is the highest performing and best selling commercial infrared camera in the world.

Its continued commercial success is largely thanks to FLIR Systems' high and consistent investment in research and development.

With this policy set to continue industry can be assured that with FLIR Systems the best is yet to come. Request a free brochure from Flir Systems ...
