Pressure calibrator uses internal,
external module

A new high-accuracy pressure calibrator has been introduced into a successful family of rugged, handheld process calibration tools.

Fluke has introduced a new high-accuracy pressure calibrator into its successful family of rugged, handheld process calibration tools The latest model is designed to calibrate P/I transmitters using either an internal sensor or external pressure modules

The Fluke 717-100G Pressure Calibrator calibrates P/I transmitters with simultaneous pressure and current measurement using an internal sensor for pressure measurements of non-corrosive liquids and gases up to 7 bar.

The calibration range can be extended up to 700 bar using products in the Fluke 700 Series of Pressure Modules.

The 717-100G sources 24V loop power and features zero, Min., Max.

and Hold function keys to simplify the calibration task.

Meter readings can be displayed with 11 different engineering units.

Fluke provides a 3-year warranty with the meter.

It comes with test leads and alligator clips, and has a C81Y protective yellow holster and integral Flex-Stand.

The internal pressure sensor has a 1/8inch NPT female pressure fitting.

Pressure and vacuum measurement accuracy is 0.05% of full scale.

Current measurement readings in mA have a 0.025% accuracy and 0.001A resolution.

The new 717-100G appears in the latest Fluke 2002 Test Tools Catalogue, available free from Fluke, together with the Fluke 740 Series of Documenting Process Calibrators, and temperature, loop and multi-function calibrators. Request a free brochure from Fluke (UK) ...
