Other enhancements include the possibility to drive up to 20mA into loop instruments with a high input impedance up to 1200Ohms, a HART mode setting with a built-in 250Ohm resistor, and 0% and 100% buttons to toggle between 4mA and 20mA sourcing for quick span checks.
The new Fluke 789 has externally accessible fuses for easy replacement without breaking the instrument's calibration seal.
The Fluke 789 ProcessMeter includes a precision 1000V, 440mV true-rms digital multimeter that meets 1000V EN61010-1 CAT III safety standards.
All existing Fluke 787 accessories fit the new 789 ProcessMeter.
Additional optional accessories include the ToolPak meter hanging solution, and LockPak, the meter locking solution.
