Machine safety interlock specialist Fortress has improved the specifications of its actuator that forms part of the AmGard2000 suite of modular access control products A threaded cast-mounting bracket allows the new tongue to be fixed to either the front or the rear of guarding gates without the use of nuts

Total stainless steel casting completes the aesthetic new construction.

The dimensions of the tongue remain unchanged and the design allows for greater gate misalignment.

Three products now benefiting from the improved tongue design include the AutoLok solenoid controlled interlock, the AutoStop tongue operated switch and the Slidebar surface mounted latch.
