Utilising uniaxial travel the TMS-Console test system has been fitted with a full range of test probes to maximise analysis capability and flexibility.

Working in conjunction with the customers Quality Control Department the FTC food technologists were able to provide test solutions for standard gelatine Bloom, Kobe and multiple point gel analysis of a wide range of hydrocolloids.

Combined with industry specific auxiliary equipment such as water baths and sample jars test replication was unlimited.

The development of a simple screening questionnaire for gel test methodology has increased awareness within the companies ingredient supply chain as to the importance of method standardisation.

Tests performed at Suppliers and customers may now be replicated with confidence and gel properties successfully evaluated to gain maximum functionality from their products.
