Very low flow measurements made remotely
A development in remote electronic transmission of very low flow measurements has resulted from a magnetic sensor, using AGC techniques to monitor the position of the float inside the flow tube.
The Brooks Ar-Mite range of gas and liquid low flow purgemeters is now available with a microprocessor based 4-20mA flow transmitter unit, for remote indication and control These typically 1/4in NPT variable area flowmeters have seven models to cover full scale flows of between 1 and 100 l/h water, or 40ln/h to 3m3n/h air, with an accuracy of Class 2.5 to VDE/VDI 3513
