Consistent with Invensys' open, platform-independent solution approach, the composite source data for the KPIs can come from a variety of different data sources.
These include OSIsoft's PI System or Invensys' own InSQL or InFusion plant historians in conjunction with any Invensys or non-Invensys automation, information, or computerized maintenance management (CMMS) platform.
With Visual KPI, users can easily create and customise composite KPIs and scorecards using data from any combination of existing systems - including OSIsoft's PI System, SQL Server, Oracle, OLE DB and Web Services - and publish them for instant use by anyone in the organisation or supply chain, from plant floor managers to executives.
Visual KPI offers real-time insight into organisational performance by delivering actionable decision-support information directly to the responsible user.
This helps to lower business risk and promote corporate transparency.
