Fisadco buys Fanuc Robodrill

Fisadco has purchased a high-speed, high-precision Fanuc Robodrill vertical machining centre.
Robodrill has a 24,000 revolutions per minute spindle, axis movements of 700 x 400 x 330mm in X, Y and Z respectively, and rapid traverse rates of 54m per minute.
It also features a 21-tool carousel with a tool change time of 1.6 seconds.
As optional equipment, a fully programmable fourth axis with tailstock was selected, along with a Renishaw NC4 non-contact tool setting probe.
