Hot chamber machines that meet the basic requirements for 'entry level' diecasting have a very user-friendly control and feature easy-to-use Windows-based programming.

Frech has expanded its range with all-new hot chamber machines that meet the basic requirements for 'entry level' diecasting The new DAW-C has all the key features of the S machines that were the companys standard offering from the mid 90s until they were superseded by the DAW-F Series launched at the last GIFA exhibition

Available with locking forces of 200, 500, 800 and 1250kN, the C machine has a Meltec single-chamber furnace with a stainless steel crucible.

The hydraulics on the injection end are fully proportional, allowing the first and second phases to be programmed from the control panel and ensuring a high degree of control over the casting process.

The control system is a slimmed-down version of the Datadialog control that is standard on all other current Frech machines.

It has a very user-friendly feel and is a Windows-based program that most people will be familiar with.

Most importantly, it has the casting parameter routine that calculates all the cycle variables in response to data input via the display screen about the part being produced.

All the information is logged and can be downloaded to a separate network computer so that it can be recalled to set up the machine the next time the job is run.

"There is no doubt that our new F-Series machines are the best on the market in terms of diecasting precision, service life and return on investment.

The C machine is a competitively priced opportunity for special diecasters demands" said Frech CEO Loannis Loannidis.

"The attractive finance options that are available for new equipment today and the reassurance of a warranty add to its attractiveness - not to mention the marketing advantages of the Frech name and the knowledge that you will reap the benefit of the machines best years.
