Fairford Electronics reportsconsiderable levels of success from its participation at the recent Hannover Fair, having received enquiries and contacts from over 22 countries.

Fairford achieved considerable levels of success from its participation at the recent Hannover Fair, Germany.

Exhibiting at the event for the first time, the company optimised its space on the BEAMA stand to generate a host of new enquiries and contacts from over twenty- two countries across the world.

The focus of all this interest was the launch by Fairford of its new SDF range of Star Delta replacement soft starters, described by Fairford managing director, David Bennett, as: "A soft starter with a twist." The'twist' is that that the low cost SDF unit is designed to fit into the same footprint as Star/Delta starters, a design feature that generated considerable excitement among the eleven existing Fairford's agents, and the seven potential new distributors, that attended the SDF launch.

All were united in applauding this feature, and in their astonishment - and delight - at the small size and low price of the SDF unit.

"It is very encouraging to have so much enthusiasm for a new product," commented Bennett, "But its easy to see why".

"The SDF makes it quick, easy and cost effective for companies to overcome the problem of transients associated with Star/Delta starting".

" What is more, with the vast installed base of Star/Delta starting systems in the market, the potential for our new unit is considerable." Paying tribute to BEAMA's role in what was a very successful first Hannover exhibition for Fairford, David Bennett, thanked the organisation for its support and praised the exhibition team, especially Jan, Vera, Mary-Jane and Suzanne".

""They were all extremely patient, knowledgeable and helpful," he said".

""We would have not enjoyed so much success without their considerable efforts.".
