Fairford's sales and marketing team has been strengthened by the recruitment of Nigel Follett who is leading a number of new initiatives.

Follett has a high technology background and has many years experience in the sales and marketing of electronic products and solutions.

His most recent position was as chief operating officer for a Bracknell, UK-based company developing Internet solutions.

Mark Shepherd, director of Fairford commented, "We are delighted that Nigel has decided to join us.

With the recent acquisition of Fairford by Crown Graphic Group, we need a fresh approach to our customers both in terms of marketing and sales.

Nigel's background gives us the ability to bring more added value to existing customers as well as attracting new business." Follett added, "Having led the development of the soft starter since the late seventies, Fairford has gained a great reputation for technical innovation.

We'd like to build on that reputation whilst focusing on a future, which will see us developing a strong applications and solutions- led approach.

Customers tell us that our unique experience is a direct benefit to them, especially in vital areas such as cost saving on peak electricity demand." Over the next twelve months Fairford is developing innovative new products and solutions that will continue to benefit customers, VARs and distributors alike.
