ICE conference organised

Fraunhofer IVV and EMA are organizing a conference at the International Converting Exhibition ICE that is being held on 27-29 March 2007 at the M,O,C Exhibition Center in Munich, Germany

The conference language will be English.

This event is directed at film producers and converters, formulating companies, machinery manufacturers, raw material producers and users.

The technical conference will be split into the following sessions Market Treatment New barrier developments Application developments Characterisation of barrier layers.

The conference fee is 325 euros and this includes entrance to the ICE.

New developments of the Fraunhofer IVV will be presented at Stand 2-M 01 in Hall 2.

The following topics will be presented this year: oxygen-scavengers and oxygen indicators incorporated into packaging films plasma-treatment to improve e.g the removal of residual contents from packaging materials adhesives that can be processed as thermoplastics for manufacturing flexible packaging with a new process of extrusion lamination.
