High dynamic range camera uses a 2048 x 2048 pixel resolution, interline transfer sensor, which can deliver a sustained 16 frames per second and faster and provide smear-free imaging.

Firstsight Vision is pleased to announce the release of the latest member of the 'Pantera' high dynamic range camera, the 4M15 from Dalsa.

The camera uses a 2048 x 2048 pixel resolution, interline transfer sensor, which can deliver a sustained 16 frames per second with faster speeds achievable if windowing is used.

The 4M15 boasts advanced features including electronic global shuttering for 'smear-free' and 'Stop Action' image capture of fast moving targets which allows a large field of view with a high data throughput.

It uses the base CameraLink standard for fast, simplified interconnection and has a very small footprint, rugged housing.

It also benefits from vertical scanning, excellent tap matching and there is a colour version available.

The 4M15 has area of interest capability, selectable 8/10 bit digitisation, programmable look up tables for better contrast and brightness, and selectable 1x1 2x2 and 4x4 binning.

With this advanced feature set, the 4M15 is ideally suited to electronics inspection, industrial metrology and traffic management applications.
