Firewire cameras from Firstsight Vision offer extremely high-resolution, multi-mega-pixel, IEEE-1394 output using high-sensitivity Sony CCD sensors.

Firewire cameras from Firstsight Vision offer extremely high-resolution, multi-mega-pixel, IEEE-1394 output using high-sensitivity Sony CCD sensors.

All cameras in the Oscar range offer external asynchronous trigger/shutter and have 12-bit output for scientific applications.

There are 3 models, the F-320C with 3.2 megapixels, the F-510C with 5.1 megapixels and the F-810C with an outstanding 8.13 megapixel resolution! These cameras are perfect for use in a range of machine vision applications.

With such high resolutions, the Oscar series are perfect for Microscopy and Medical Applications.

All models benefit from a preview mode with high frame rate, which provides easy set-up.

All models use the same compact industrial housing and have extensive on-board pre-processing functions, such as frame averaging, and calculation of monochrome output.

This results in outstanding image quality, puts less load on the system and gives higher overall performance.

The integrated smart functions can execute some functions more normally handled by the frame-grabber.

AVT Oscar cameras are easy to integrate into existing applications with the powerful and flexible API (MV, WDM, Twain and Linux).
