Inspect is the latest compact vision system from IPD, the Intelligent Products Division of Coreco Imaging, designed for component and product inspection.
Unlike many other 'smart' cameras, the Inspect can handle up to three simultaneous camera inputs, allowing multi-view or multi-lane inspection scenarios, with a choice of available camera and sensor resolutions.
Inspect also has performance up to 10 times that of comparable 'smart' systems, claimed Firstsight Vision.
There is a choice of control interface options, including a customisable local and remote access, industry standard Modbus, Profibus and Ethernet/IP capability plus the option of generating a custom designed application specific GUI.
