High speed linescan camera needs no
frame grabber

A high speed linescan camera that needs no frame grabber is programmable, and takes advantage of the high speed Gigabit Ethernet network interface for control and data streaming.

The Spyder GigE is the latest in the DALSA leading range of linescan cameras The new model sets new industry standards surpassing the performance of the previous Spyder 2 model with 3x more responsivity, and by using Dalsa's latest linescan sensor technology it delivers throughput rates of 80MHz

Fully programmable, the camera takes advantage of the high speed Gigabit Ethernet network interface for control and data streaming and is GigE Vision ready for when the standard finally rolls out.

The camera's QuickCam GUI enables you to quickly configure the camera and begin imaging straight away, while the QuickCam SDK allows you to develop your own application using the product.

Performing tasks such as flat field correction or setting line rates and exposure modes is now greatly simplified! The high performance GigE interface transfers images directly to host PC memory without the need for a frame grabber, giving you the opportunity to significantly reduce system costs.

This interface also allows for camera to PC separation of 100m, (further with standard network switching hardware) and multicasting to multiple PCs for parallel processing operations.

The Spyder 3 Gig-E is well suited to applications such in the fields of Flat Panel Display inspection, postal sorting, wood/tile/steel inspection, 100% print inspection, food inspection, web inspection, container inspection and pick and place. Request a free brochure from Firstsight Vision ...
