The DVT 'Extreme Environment' Legend XE camera, is intended for use in extreme conditions and is IP68 compliant for dust, 'wash down' and corrosion protection.

The DVT 'Extreme Environment' Legend XE camera is a stainless steel cased version of the popular and powerful DVT Legend 550 high speed smart camera.

It is intended for use in extreme conditions and is IP68 compliant for dust, 'wash down' and corrosion protection.

It is ideal for the kind of environments commonly found in food production and processing, and other high humidity situations.

Unlike other systems intended for harsh environments, the DVT Extreme has a clean, uncluttered housing with the very minimum of crevices and surface details that could otherwise trap food particles and bacteria.

This makes the DVT Extreme very easy to wash down and maintain, saving time.

The Extreme is infact completely submersible and can function happily while totally immersed, even in salt water! For many applications the DVT Extreme can replace a separate camera and housing combination with all the complications that this would otherwise involve.

The Extreme Environment Legend XE features Texas Instruments DSP technology and boasts both increased speed and memory, operating up to eight times faster than DVT's high-speed Legend 540 series.

The Legend XE, like all DVT machine vision products, comes with free training, free software, and free support.

DVT is the only machine vision company to offer a support model that includes free classroom, online and CD-based training, free software and software upgrades, and free online technical support.
