Smart vision system for factory automation

iNspect is an integrated hardware/software system providing a solution to many different factory automation and inspection tasks running on the popular Netsight 2 vision platform.

The iNspect smart vision system is the latest of the Vision Appliance family of products from IPD, the Intelligent Products Division of Coreco Imaging.

iNspect is an integrated hardware/software system providing a solution to many different factory automation and inspection tasks.

It runs on the popular Netsight 2 vision platform which is a small form factor, PC based system in a rugged housing well suited to the factory environment.

iNspect shares the same easy to use interface as the other Vision Appliances and is ideally suited to high speed industrial inspection tasks.

iNspect provides a very cost effective solution and unlike single smart camera solutions, additional cameras can be easily added at a very moderate cost.

A range of different camera combinations can be accommodated: 3 monochrome cameras can be connected, providing up to 180 frames captures per second or one RGB colour camera.

For total flexibility, it also includes inputs for 1 x IEEE-1394 device, 2 x USB 1.1 ports, and 1 x 10/100 ethernet connection.

iNspect combines a superset of the vision tools found in the iGuage and iCheck Vision Appliances and adds Arc radius, Average distance, tip, point, line reference, 2D Matrix and many more software tools.

iNspect is part rotation invariant and even allows for user defined inspection criteria, when more complex applications need to be undertaken.

The iNspect Vision Appliance combines the ease of use features that you need with the robust and proven Netsight 2 platform.
