Modular vision cameras easily exchanged
The Accupixel range from Pulnix is a family of Cameralink cameras that benefit from an extremely modular design, allowing for easy exchange of camera models should the application require it.
Successor to popular machine vision camera
The new JAI CV-A10/A70 CL monochrome/colour cameralink camera series from JAI is the successor to the JAI CV-M10.
The VA31 is supplied with fully installed iLabel software for ensuring the correct placement and type of labels with lot code and date code checking (including barcodes) which has been further enhanced with a new release of software that now includes flashing and seal bead tools ideally suited for checking packaging seals.
The VA31 configuration allows very small cameras to be used, while the unit itself can be readily integrated into factory environments alongside other automation controllers.
The unit can accommodate 1 or 2 sensor heads with up to 1400 x 1024 pixel resolution for exceptional image quality.

Machine vision software frees up application time
Designed for quick and easy implementation, machine vision software frees up the time spent integrating system components allowing more time for developing the vision application.
Programmable LED Lighting Controller
The new PP900 programmable lighting controller includes patent pending 'Safe-Sense technology for use with the CCS range of machine vision illumination.
The VA 31 features a powerful embedded processor that ensures exceptionally fast inspection times.
The unit is fully equipped with industrial grade Inputs and outputs and standard connections are provided for PC peripherals.
The system can be configured or monitored locally with an VGA monitor or can be remotely configured and monitored via a standard web browser.
With Ethernet communication facilities supplied as standard, this means the system can be controlled from nearby or the other side of the world.
iLabel rapidly checks the placement and quality of labels on bottles, boxes, cans and other rigid, packaged goods.
It checks that the proper label is on the package, that the label is correctly positioned and that the placement angle is within set limits.
It then checks for flags, tears and missing parts of the label as well as for gross defects such as smears, contamination and splatters.
iLabel also includes capabilities to read product barcodes and determine relative label position, and can be configured for barcode or Optical Character Recognition verification only.
Designed for use by someone familiar with a packaging line but not necessarily with machine vision, iLabel can inspect labels from 1" to over 10" in size and is capable of up to 300 label inspections per minute.
It allows the initiation and creation of label inspections for any particular product range in a matter of minutes.
iLabel automatically learns acceptable labels from seeing "good" samples.
Acceptable variations in the manufacturing process or environment are easily captured using the same "show and learn" technique.
Images of recently passed and failed labels are recorded as well as statistics on all labels, using the 4 GigBytes of flash memory built in to the VA31.
