Hardness tester that dares to be different

A Fischer Instrumentation (GB) product story

To be free of subjective influences prone to the Vickers Hardness measurement, such as the optical measurement of the indentation diagonal, is the concept behind this micro hardness tester.

To be free of subjective influences prone to the Vickers Hardness measurement, such as the optical measurement of the indentation diagonal, is the concept behind the Fischerscope H100C micro hardness tester.

Its WIN-HCU software provides extensive evaluation capabilities, which can be imported into an Excel spreadsheet.

The instrument is marketed through Fischer Instrumentation (GB), Lymington, Hampshire.

The H100C measures Universal Hardness (HU) under test load by measuring the indenter displacement depth (according to DIN 50 359).

The test load range from 0.4mN to 1000mN, with measurements of less than1 micrometer thickness being possible.

It is also able to compute hardness measurements using Vickers, Berkovich, Knoop or various spherical indenters.

The WIN-HCU software is compatible with Windows 95/98 and Windows NT.

It can compute statistical and material characteristics such as mean value, standard deviation, HU, HV, Creep.

It stores measurement plots and graphically displays the data as a histogram.

Fischer Instrumentaion (GB) is a subsidiary of Helmut Fischer.
