Fischer Instrumentation (GB) has developed a microsite to not only act as a source of useful papers and information on hardness and materials testing but also to provide a platform to explain why the Fischer hardness testing system is different There are many hardness testers in the marketplace, including portable instruments, which meet basic and simple requirements but which do not have the scope of the Fischer system, which has found uses in laboratories where the requirements are more challenging and varied
