FSG Tool and Die has strengthened its injection mould tool team with the appointment of Chris Harrison who has thirty years experience in the mouldmaking and moulding industry.

Harrison has held a number of senior management positions in the sector and has championed the cause of high-technology, high-value-added tooling, throughout his career.

With extensive knowledge of all forms of injection mouldmaking from multi-cavity through to single pre-production tooling, Chris has direct experience of injection moulding applications ranging from closures, to pharmaceutical and medical.

This background in 'leading-edge' mould tool technology make Chris a perfect fit for FSG, a company whose engineering skills and ability to create both press and mould tools to the highest standards in extremely short lead times, have already won it a significant share of blue chip customers, particularly in the automotive and packaging markets.

Managing director, Gareth Jenkins, comments; "We are delighted to welcome Chris on board - he brings with him a fund of knowledge and a passion for the business of toolmaking".

"In particular their knowledge of medical and pharmaceutical injection mould toolmaking will enable FSG to focus more closely on customers in these areas and tailor our services to those very specific needs.".
