"With the increased focus on material cost reductions and the use of higher strength materials, we have added the Stamping Cost Optimization Workshop, and Advanced Stamping Materials training programmes", said Michael Gallagher, vice president of sales and marketing, FTI.
"These programmes provide ideas for generating material cost savings and the foundation for understanding the theory and application of Advanced High Strength Materials.
We now have over 35 courses designed directly for the sheet metal industry as well as several courses developed specifically for our client's in-house requirements".
FTI has been providing Stamping and Welding training courses to OEMs, Tier I, and Tier II facilities for over 19 years.
As a result, over 12,000 designers, engineers, tool and die makers, press shop operators, managers and supervisors have benefited from FTI training.
FTI offers on-site training world-wide and provides open public sessions in North America and India.
