Forming Technologies (FTI) has unveiled its Fastform Multistage software for the layout of multistage forming processes.
Fastform Multistage utilises a hybrid analysis approach (Finite Increment Technology) that combines the ability to quickly determine blank shapes with the detailed process analysis of incremental solvers.
The company said that the technology runs one to two orders of magnitude faster than traditional explicit and implicit incremental solvers that are on the market today.
