Barrels and containers emptied of liquids quickly
Compact but powerful pumps are designed for a wide range of applications in quickly drawing off, transferring and emptying liquids from barrels and containers.
Handling products such as these, which do not flow freely, is often difficult, costly and subject to wastage.
Flux solves the problem with a portable system specially designed for this application and providing flowrates up to 40 litres per minute.
The new system comprises a ram guide with follow-on plate, and operates with Flux?s Type F 550S and F 560S progressive cavity pumps and a three-phase electric or compressed air motor.
The system is designed with a mechanical seal to ensures the integrity of fragile media.
When the barrel is emptied, the follow-on plate is raised by two pneumatic cylinders, and both the Viscoflux system and pumps are easily dismantled for cleaning or sterilisation.
3A-approved versions are available for hygienic applications.
