Fivesquared's tests on Geltec vibration-reducing seat cushions showed that they can cut whole-body vibration levels on plant and machinery by up to 80 per cent; free trials are being offered.

Fivesquared, the sole UK distributor for medical, industrial and recreational Geltec products in the UK, and the parent company of Total Safety Solutions, has completed its investigations into vibration-reducing seat cushions.

The detailed assessments showed that the cushions reduced whole-body vibration (WBV) levels on some plant and machinery by up to 80 per cent.

Tests were carried out on ride-on mowers, excavators, forklift trucks, wagons and other all terrain vehicles; the average level of the vibration reduction was nearly 60 per cent.

Geltec is an American product that has been on the market for almost 10 years.

Fivesquared has negotiated sole UK distribution rights for a period of three years and is looking to appoint suitable distributors in various parts of the UK.

The products are suitable for industrial, office, home and recreational purposes, with each product offering benefits to the user.

With whole-body vibration regulations coming into force, these products are widely seen as the answer to many WBV issues that companies may have.

Fivesquared is able to test any vehicle for whole-body vibration levels in working conditions.

Free trials are being offered on the full range of Geltec products, so why not try the vibration-reducing plant and equipment cushion and see the results for yourself?.
