Audiometer rentals for testing staff
First Stop Safety is launching a new Audiometer rental package which allows companies to carry out hearing tests using suitably trained staff.
The new Control of Noise at Work Regulations came into force in April 2006 These brought in hearing tests for everyone exposed to more than 85 dB of Noise over a working day
It is also good practice to test the hearing of new staff to establish a base-line.
A cost-effective solution to implementing this in most workplaces is to train staff in carrying out these tests and hire an Audiometer when required.
The Industrial Audiometer Package is PC controlled and is very easy to operate.
It comes with a Quick Guide, Guidelines to a good Audiometric programme, Health Questionnaire and a full user manual.
All test results are presented graphically and saved for further analysis.
