Glacier Computer, a leading designer, developer, and supplier of rugged industrial PC-compatible devices, announces the addition of Jason Danella of Methuen, Massachusetts, to the position of Sales Engineer for the public safety market.

Based in Amherst, NH, Danella will be responsible for selling and supporting Glacier's line of rugged computers and software for police cars, fire trucks, and emergency vehicles.

"Jason brings tremendous sales talent and industry experience to our organization," said John Geary, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Glacier Computer.

"We are confident that he will have a significant impact on the growth of the public safety portion of our business." Danella was previously employed at Future Electronics, a global distributor of electronic components, and at Eastern States Components, a microelectronics component solutions provider.

In his new role, Danella will work with key customers and prospects to increase awareness of the benefits of Glacier's public safety solutions, such as rapid retrieval of vital information including licenses and mug shots, while viewed on Glacier's sunlight readable in-vehicle hardware.
