Advanced cost designer tool for parts, process and assembly provides reliable estimates of manufacturing costs and gives guidance on design and producibility issues

The powerful cost estimation and decision support capabilities of SEER-DFM and its associated Composites Plug-in will be highlighted by Galorath International at Europe's largest exhibition for the composites sector, JEC 2007 which takes place at the Porte de Versailles in Paris, 3-5 April.

SEER-DFM is an advanced cost designer tool for parts, process and assembly, which not only provides reliable estimates of manufacturing costs, but also gives guidance on design and producibility issues enabling users to determine the most efficient and affordable designs possible.

Galorath's Composites Plug-in extends SEER-DFM's capabilities to include a wide variety of existing and emerging composite fabrication and assembly processes, as well as some state-of-the-art metal processes such as Super Plastic Forming-w-Diffusion Bonding.

SEER-DFM with Composites Plug-in allows users to perform an increased number of trade studies in a shorter period of time.
