Prior to forming NTI, Tanala served as a laser tracker account manager for Faro Technologies He joined the company in 1996 and was tasked to setup business operations and open new distribution channels in Europe.
Tanala also launched two companies in France and Germany that developed and marketed integrated optics products based on laser interferometers for high accuracy displacement measurements and sophisticated optical engineering applications such as stabilized wavelength laser sources for satellites.
Mr Tanala is a native of Madagascar and is fluent in four languages.
He holds a degree in Engineering with post graduate specialization in Aerospace applications.
Tanala also holds a Master's degree in International Marketing for high technology products.
He will interact directly with key members of the management team at Geodetic Systems: John D.
Brown - President, and Gary Johanning, Vice President.
