Datanet offers services to complement SPC software

Datanet Quality Systems, the developer of the WinSPC and Qualtrend quality-control software, has launched a suite of services to complement its SPC software.

Stephen A Arnett, Datanet's chief executive officer, said: 'In addition to our flagship SPC software, our expanded service offerings will further assist our customers in capturing more of the cost savings associated with preventative quality-control techniques.

The services are tailored to meet the needs of the progressive manufacturer who wants to capture the added benefits that preventative quality control provides.

Datanet's solution provides manufacturers with enterprise-level services, the flexibility to choose only what they need and the simplicity of dealing with one service provider, according to the company.

The portfolio of services features integrated consulting, implementation and staffing services.

This includes: strategy and consulting; plant assessment; problem solving and preventative techniques consulting; SPC software implementation planning (pilot or proof-of-concept implementation); remote, basic or advanced software implementation services; full-service turnkey implementations; shop-floor device integration for automated data collection; quality data migration and integration; quality reporting automation software validation; installation and operations qualification; performance qualification; do-it-yourself SPC software validation toolkit education and training; SPC software training; advanced statistics training; six sigma training staffing, permanent or contract employment at a customer's location (for part or total ownership of their production quality program); preventive quality-control program development and management; real-time SPC software implementation management; custom application development and integration; quality engineering and statistical analysis; and lean, six sigma or continuous improvement.
