Following worldwide success of its i Series CNC, the new upgraded i Series Model B will be launched at EMO 2001.
The whole range of GE Fanuc 16i/18i/21i and 160i/180i/210i CNC, whether mounted on the control panel or stand alones, will be seen to have benefited from these major upgrades, which include software packages enabling remote monitoring of Ethernet-linked machine tool operations.
Many additional new software packages specifically designed to gain optimum results with the new CNC i Series Model B will also be demonstrated on the stand.
Other major launches will include: Manual Guides for Compound Machines (turning and milling cycles), a new control Panel i and a new Windows CE 3.0 control Panel is.
New Alpha i Servo Motors, Alpha i Spindle Motors, together with compatible Servo and spindle amplifiers will all be featured.
Other new, or upgraded products to be shown for the first time are to include new, small linear motors, which extend the range extensively to cover applications from very small, low-cost lathes to transfer lines; servo motors.
There is also a range of Manual Guide CNC Milling and Turning software packages; and new Power Mate 0 and Power Mate i Model H releases.
