Bi-stable position sensors with matching magnets are ideal for use in a variety of applications requiring precise position sensing for safety.

New PSB1 Series bi-stable position sensors with matching magnets from switching, sensing and control solutions specialist Gentech International are ideal for use in a variety of applications requiring precise position sensing for safety Gentech PSB1 Series sensors feature magnetically biased bi-stable contacts and can be activated by Gentech's comprehensive range of compatible north or south pole magnets, providing precise position indication in security and interlock switches, lifts, elevators, stair lifts and materials handling equipment

The sensors are of robust glass-filled Nylon 6.6 construction with proven reed switch reliability.

Termination via flying leads can be left or right handed to suit individual application requirements.

Gentech PSB1 Series sensors provide 100V dc, 0.5 amps, 5 watts switching, a maximum withstand across contacts of 150V and initial contact resistance of 0.25 ohms.

The sensors have an operating temperature range of -30deg to +105degC.

Gentech also offer a full technical consultancy service to support specific applications across their range of position, level and flow sensors, magnetic reed switches and reed relays.
