Gewefa to distribute Parlec presetters in UK

Supplier of tool-holding systems, Gewefa UK, has been appointed the UK and Ireland distributor for Parlec tool pre-setting, measuring and inspection systems.

Gewefa UK, the UK's leading independent supplier of tool holding systems and allied equipment has been appointed the UK and Ireland distributor for Parlec tool pre-setting, measuring and inspection systems.

Gewefa has extensive experience in the tool pre-setting market having represented Zoller in the UK for the past three years.

However, with the German company pursuing alternative forms of representation in the UK, the opportunity to enter into negotiations with Parlec has resulted in Gewefa UK's exclusive appointment.

"This is a significant addition to the portfolio of products available to the manufacturing sector from Gewefa UK Limited," comments its managing director Graham Horwood.

"Parlec is a truly international operation and we look forward to working with the organisation in establishing a major foothold for them in the UK." In addition to the extensive Gewefa range of tool holding equipment, Gewefa also represents Pibomulti, EWS and Nann in the UK.

As part of the upgrading of its European distributor operations, Parlec will be establishing a comprehensive inventory of spares at its Parlec Europe operational headquarters in Kingswood, Bristol.

The appointment of Gewefa UK brings to seven the number of distributors for Parlec pre-setters in Europe in addition to a range of sub dealers.
