Among the keynote speakers at the 'Seriously Mobile Summit', Europe's premier mobile learning event, will be Fabrizio Cardinali, CEO of Giunti Labs.

Fabrizio Cardinali, CEO of Giunti Labs, Europe's leading vendor of e-learning and mobile learning content management solutions, and newly elected co-Chair of the European Learning Industry Group (eLIG), will be among the keynote speakers at the 'Seriously Mobile Summit', Europe's premier mobile learning event.

This year, the Summit takes place again at Reuters' headquarters in Canary Wharf, London, on 20th April.

Organised by mobile learning experts Ambient Performance, a partner of Giunti Labs, the event is now in its second year and is anchored around a one-day thought-leadership summit, running annually, with further hands-on workshops throughout the year.

The next related event is a mobile learning tools and approaches workshop, scheduled for London on 17th May.

"Seriously Mobile 2007 is a one-day thought-leadership seminar for learning professionals and managers to explore the business drivers and solutions to better address the learning and performance needs of increasingly mobile workers," explained Ambient Performance's Ron Edwards.

"The theme for this year's summit is 'the mobile internet - working in real time and supporting mobile workforce capability'." "The learn eXact LCMS infrastructure is now available with mobile learning and wearable training plug-ins, allowing the distribution of mobile content on Blackberry mailers, Windows Mobile Computers, Symbian Smartphones and Xybernaut Wearable Computers with Wi-Fi and RFID tags based location detection, seamlessly integrated with the LMS and VLE delivery platforms already available in pre-existing set-ups," Cardinali explained.

"This allows content to reach learners wherever they need support and on whatever device they want to use, thus extending the reach of existing learning technologies within the corporate set-up." In addition to Cardinali, summit speakers include Tom Glocer, CEO of Reuters; the California-based world-renowned e-learning guru, Jay Cross, and former BBC executive Nigel Paine.

Edwards commented: "This is an international summit with speakers from at least five countries and delegates drawn from across the world.

It's shaping up to be a remarkable event which, I hope, will again serve as a catalyst for organisations to take action.".
