Improving job efficiencies as much as 1,000% over manual "measuring tape and paper" methods, PowerCAD SiteMaster uses precise measurements from a wireless Leica DISTOT Plus laser to automatically create richly detailed as-built floor plans and construction drawings on a Windows Pocket PC, Handheld PC or Tablet PC.
Drawings are generated to professional architectural CAD standards, and include complete as-built site information with extended detailing, accurate room areas and dimensions, and on-site inspection observations including digital photographs and hands-free VoiceNOTET audio recordings.
For maximum efficiency, results can be saved in AutoCAD file formats and sent directly from the jobsite to customer or company office locations via email or wireless data transfer.
AIA 2004 convention attendees can view a live demonstration of PowerCAD SiteMaster at Leica's booth # 1048 after 4PM on Thursday June 10, and during published exhibit hours on Friday June 11 and Saturday June 12.
Leica and GiveMePower have agreed to jointly market PowerCAD SiteMaster through Leica's network of authorized DISTOT distributors and dealers, as well as authorized PowerCAD Vertical Market Solution resellers located throughout North America.
