GiveMePower has been invited to showcase three of its premier PowerCAD software technologies in Microsoft's Public Sector Partner Solution Marketplace.

GiveMePower has announced that it has been invited to showcase three of its premier PowerCAD software technologies in Microsoft's Public Sector Partner Solution Marketplace, a new Microsoft initiative designed to facilitate public organisations in quickly locating vendors who can develop and deploy leading technology solutions A Microsoft Certified Partner, GiveMePower was invited as an early entrant to showcase three of it's top PowerCAD technologies in the Public Sector Partner Solution Marketplace, including PowerCAD SiteMaster, PowerCAD CE and the PowerCAD Graphic Developer's Engine

GiveMePower was required to demonstrate a strong track record of delivering high-quality software to the public sector in order to be accepted into the program.

Public sector users currently benefiting from GiveMePower technologies include: Texas AandM, Morehead State University, US Navy, Virginia Tech, University of Calgary, US Air Force, Penn State University, the United States Postal Service, the Dormitory Authority for the State of New York, City of Eden, City of Green, and other branches of the US Military.

"Teaming up with Microsoft and leveraging this on-line marketplace has the potential to dramatically increase sales of PowerCAD solutions in the public sector," said Cliff Carr, vice president of North American Sales for GiveMePower.

GiveMePower has already begun working with Microsoft account managers and industry representatives to help to identify and cultivate new business opportunities in the public sector.

In addition, public sector employees who visit the marketplace can locate GiveMePower software offerings by category, country or region, or they can submit a request to the site for a solution, describing the regional and technology requirements.

Solution requests trigger e-mail alerts, which are sent to GiveMePower for follow-up.

Three PowerCAD technologies are featured in the marketplace, each designed to provide high-performance desktop, mobile and wireless CAD/graphics solutions for government and education clients involved in design, construction, engineering, facilities management, GIS, manufacturing, real estate and related industries.
